If your child is struggling with Spanish right now and needs help… it’s important to know a little about who will be tutoring them, right?

I’m a 1994 graduate of Trinity Episcopal School in Richmond and a 1998 graduate of James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia.

I currently reside in Midlothian with my husband, Ken, our two feisty cats, and one crazy dog named Zep. I received my B.A. in Modern Foreign Languages with my major in Spanish and a focus in Latin American studies.

Your child will benefit from the nine years of my experience in teaching and tutoring Spanish to young people as well as teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) to Spanish speaking children and adults in both the Richmond and Harrisonburg communities.

I am committed to continued learning and development for both myself and others. Even though learning another language can be challenging, the rewards are immeasurable for your child. No one is too young nor too old to start the process of learning another language. (and the sooner, the better!

By the session: $50/ session

Tutoring Packages Available:

Maintenance Tutoring, 5 sessions: $199 ($40/ session)

This is for students who want to review concepts and review for quizzes and tests on a weekly basis. Students have a general understanding of the current concepts but simply need some added review.

Intensive Tutoring, 10 sessions: $349 ($35/ session)

This is for students who have fallen a little behind in their course and need to review past concepts as well as continue learning new concepts.

This involves intense review of past concepts, preparing for upcoming quizzes and tests and laying out a plan for successful course completion.

* Packages are prepaid
* Sessions are typically 50-55 minutes.
