Tutor Information
Tutor Description I graduated magna cum laude from Princeton and have a Ph.D. in Geography from the University of Minnesota.
I have been homeschooling my son for the past few years and would now like to offer my services to other students, from elementary to graduate school.
While my expertise is in math and statistics, I am comfortable tutoring a variety of subjects—just ask!
I taught English for 2 years in Japan and have taught both undergraduates and graduate students at the U of MN.
My graduate studies were supported by a National Science Foundation fellowship, an NSF Doctoral Dissertation Improvement Grant, and the John Borchert Dissertation Fellowship.
I was valedictorian of my high school class, a National Merit Finalist, and scored 780 math/760 English on the old SAT, as well as an 800 math on the GRE.
I am comfortable in a variety of languages, especially Japanese, but also French and Spanish.
I enjoy sailing & canoe camping in the Boundary Waters. |
